From leisurely mornings on the terrace to intimate evenings around the braai, every detail is crafted to ensure your stay is nothing short of extraordinary. own farm dogs, Spunky and Gamay,
are not friendly towards
other dogs.

The house is located on a working farm, so there will be activity during the day, especially during harvest. The tasting room is next door which has its perks 😉

BREAKFAST AND DINNER OPTIONS:

Breakfast basics are included with a fresh bread, eggs and farm butter so you can get your day started without worries! However, we also provide a leisurely breakfast option, and excellent pies and pizza should you not want to braai at night.

– Kogelberg Reserve is a hikers’ paradise and there is an entrance via the dirt road part of Highlands Road.
– Golf enthousiasts have Arabella Golf Course around the corner

– Mountainbikers can fill their hearts in Oak Valley with plenty of trails

– they also have lots of trails on their website.
– For kayak and waterski you can go to Elgin River Lodge, along the Palmiet river.
– Adventurous souls can eat their heart out at the Cape Canopy Zipline,

And although the house has all the options for cosy cooking and braaiing, we also have great lunch spots nearby: Cheverells Apple Farm, The Table @ Oak Valley and Bloem at Paul Cluver.
On weekends there also is the Elgin Railway Market.
To stock up for a braai, one can stop at Peregrine Farmstall or Spar.
